And the (Gadget) Show goes on...

Now that lockdown is easing, I thought it would be a good time to update you on what's happening in the world of Gemma. I am finalising details for re-opening the salon and details will posted next week. In the meantime, The Gadget Show has resumed filming but as a makeup artist I really needed to come up with a plan to keep the presenters looking camera good while maintaining social distancing!

I knew I wouldn’t be able to apply their makeup like I usually do, so it was time to get creative.

I put together a pack of makeup essentials for each presenter and sealed and labelled them in a plastic bag. These were set out in their dressing room alongside packs of wipes, hairspray and cleanser.

It is important that they don’t look shiny under the studio lights so I also printed off a set of instructions for each of them to follow, explaining which product to use where.
