So happy I could burst

My bridesmaids and I were absolutely delighted with our wedding day look. We all felt very glamorous and very special. There were 6 of us and Gemma finished in plenty of time for a glass of Champagne before we needed to get dressed.

Professional, friendly and fabulous!

Gemma is amazing at what she does! I hired Gemma to do the hair for my wedding. With 7 bridesmaids and my mother in law as well as me, Gemma had a busy morning ahead of her but she absolutely delivered!

 

All of my bridesmaids looked stunning as did my mother in law and 12 hours later all of our hair was still going strong. I was so happy with my hair, Gemma really listened carefully and did exactly what I asked for and it was beautiful!

 

It felt secure and really had the volume I wanted. I also found Gemma to have a lovely calm nature and a great sense of humour. We had such a fun, lovely morning, I felt like I'd known Gemma for years 😁 Thanks Gemma! Xxxx

Absolute Perfection! :)

I had my wedding less than a week ago and I'm already in a hurry to rave about how brilliant Gemma was for both my hair and make-up as well as for my bridesmaids!

 

Firstly she was prompt in getting in touch regarding availability, options and quotes and gave excellent advice. I then had my trial, where I arrived not fully knowing what I wanted but with a few ideas. Gemma quickly took those ideas and turned them into something that not only looked amazing, but suited me and was pitched just right for my dress and style of wedding.

 

Gemma is friendly and approachable and clearly knows her trade inside out! I walked away from the trial feeling radiant and full of confidence that I was in the best possible hands. On the wedding days itself, Gemma arrived bang on time and quickly set herself up with her very impressive array of professional kit.

 

She worked between me and my bridesmaid's so swiftly and calmly that any nerves soon melted away. My bridesmaids are 9 and 13, so very different ages and attitudes to 'dressing-up', but Gemma helped us to select a style that would suit them both and would not only look wonderful, but also be something they would be happy with too. Gemma worked non-stop to make sure we were all ready with plenty of time to spare and left with no trace except for us all feeling pampered and looking at our very best.

 

My wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year, but all of our hair and make-up stayed in place perfectly throughout the entire day! So many of my friends and family complimented her work and the photos are testament to her skill. I can't recommend Gemma enough, she was my superstar! Many thanks, Adele Chapman

Gemma I'd just like to say a big Thank you!!

I came to the salon yesterday for a hair trial and make up masterclass before I go to tie the knot abroad. I’ll be doing my own make up and providing pics you took of my hair that you styled, to give the hairdresser to (hopefully!) copy.

​

You made me feel so at ease, listened to exactly what I wanted. Im not one for heavy make up but you made a tired mommy feel a million dollars!, it was flawless & elegant.

​

The masterclass was invaluable and I would highly recommend to anyone novice or expert to book this before your wedding or any special occasion. Ive already booked Gemma in for hair & make up for the wedding party and wouldn’t consider anyone else!

I had a really bad experience with my hair and make-up on several occasions which made me very nervous about trusting someone to style my hair and do my make-up for my wedding. Gemma was so lovely to deal with from the moment I sent her my inquiry and she gave me a lot of confidence when I met her at my trial.

Gemma gave me advice on how to address my concerns with my skin ahead of the wedding which significantly improved my skin's appearance. Gemma was happy to deviate from her vision of the style she had in mind for me, however, I later concurred with her views after trying my own suggestions as I could not compete with her artistry and expertise.

On my wedding day, Gemma was extremely calm and collected, the wedding morning was amazingly relaxed despite the size of my bridal party. I also asked Gemma to alter the hairstyle we had agreed at the trial and she instantly came up with the most beautiful style that took my breath away. Whilst my hair looked shiny and it was gently curled into a delicate and sophisticated bun, my hair felt soft and natural all day although it did not move from its perfect position throughout the entire day and night. As to my make-up, I have never thought I could look the way I did, it was simply astonishing.

Defined yet delicate, fresh yet long lasting even though we got married during our short April heatwave. I cannot thank Gemma enough for making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt and making our wedding even more special.

I was looking for a make- up Artist and Hairdresser who could make me feel like every girl wants to feel on her Wedding Day - Like a Princess.  After a couple of un-successful attempts with other artists I was starting to panic and wonder if I would ever find anyone I could rely on and be happy with the results.

Luckily I found Gemma.  From the first phone call to Gemma I felt at ease and confident I had found the woman for the job; Gemma was totally professional and also very friendly and made me feel relaxed.  I had a trial with Gemma at her fabulous salon.  I took along some photos, Ideas of what I was looking for and my veil etc Gemma also threw her ideas in to the mix which I welcomed.  When I finally looked in the mirror at the trial I actually said WOW.  It was everything I had dreamt of and more, I was totally in love with what Gemma had created.  And so was my Husband, his face said it all as I walked down the aisle towards him, a moment I will never forget.

On the Day itself Gemma was amazing, calm and professional. I just wish she had been at our celebrations with us as a thank you.
