A (makeup) brush with the law...
The last few months have certainly been busy. As well as continuing to work with private clients, I have been taking on more commercial projects like The Gadget Show
One thing I love about my job is how varied it can be, no two days are alike! Recently I have been involved in the production of a video for Shoosmiths, a leading national law firm based in Birmingham. The video was produced by Paul Painter from Amara Portraits and featured support artists and I was briefed with making sure that they looked professional and office ready! Filming requires a different sort of makeup but one that still has to look natural and not theatrical - you know I like a challenge
I always love providing a bespoke service for individual clients but working on television and film projects is exciting and brings its own rewards and being part of a production team is very rewarding.
Take care
Gemma
