So, what did you think of Meghan Markle’s wedding makeup?
Well, now we have had time to reflect , here is my take on Meghan's wedding look.
I thought she looked wonderful, exactly how she wanted to look in front of the world’s press, but she had managed to be true to her own personal style.
I imagine in the run up to the big day the professionals she worked with will have advised a series of facials. If I have a client who hasn’t managed to do this then I would prep the skin on the morning of the wedding by using Opatra Dermisonic machine in conjunction with the Elemis Pro-Radiance Illumination Flash Balm. This will brighten the skin and help boost its natural glow.
I would love to know which foundation she used as this look was all about the skin. Whatever she had used, it gave just the right amount of coverage while allowing her freckles to show through. I’m guessing that it was something like Armani Maestro Glow which is a light, gentle base with a dewy finish. In the salon I often use foundation airbrushing to achieve a similar affect.
Meghan had chosen to wear a strong smoky eye which, perhaps, is a little unusual for a bride. I would have opted for a more pale, matt eyeshadow combined with a soft, smudged eyeliner. Like Meghan, I would have finished the eyes with a natural set of individual lashes to open the eye area.
The rest of her face was understated with perhaps the lightest dusting of bronzer.
She had chosen a nude lip with a subtle sheen. Clarins Lip Perfector in 04 perhaps which is a soft pale pink gloss.
The complete look was radiant and polished and yet natural. She was the best version of herself and what more could a bride want?
Good luck to them both
