Lockdown restyle is coming...

I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to opening the salon, hopefully in early July. Many of you have asked what a visit will be like in the future to comply with all the Health & Safety requirements so I thought I’d explain how it will work.

Firstly, we will speak to you by phone to check on your own health regarding Covid-19. This will mean answering a few routine questions and then we can schedule an appointment.

Our more senior clients will be given the opportunity to book an early appointment if they wish.

Appointments will be staggered as only 4 people may be in the building at any one time. The floor will be marked out and at the moment there will be no walk-in appointments. We have started a waiting list and we will contact those when we get the green light. To put your name down either call, email or send a message via the website contact page.

Myself or Ana will ring you 24 hours before to confirm the appointment.

You will be met at the door by one of us and we will be wearing face shields, gloves and shoe covers. Clients will be required to wear masks and shoe covers which we will provide during the appointment.

I am pleased to say that all the usual services will be available unless we are advised otherwise in the coming weeks.

We would prefer you to pay by card.

When your appointment is finished, the gown and towels will be immediately washed. The salon will be cleaned, and all equipment sterilised after each appointment.

Lots of people have been in touch saying how they have missed having their regular appointments. I hope all these measures we are putting in place will reassure you. Many things have changed but not the great service we endeavour to give you here. I can’t wait to welcome you back.

Gemma

PS Never one to sit around twiddling my thumbs, to welcome you back I have been busy giving the salon a face lift and have re-decorated in bright fresh white.

See you soon.
